Friday Night Sew In Happenings

I know you're dying to see what I got done last night.
After all....
I talked real big about being all ready to
'get my sew on'
and even mentioned taking my bra off.

Well...here it is folks......

I got the binding sewn on my little mug rug I made at my sister's
a couple weeks ago.
And I'm thinking I need to stop drinking and sewing.
My quilt lines are horrible!
LOL

So....I'm sure you're thinking,
"What happened to all that big talk?"
Well, here's the deal...
I put a movie in my dvd player.
The Vow
Yep...
That's all she wrote right there folks.
I was glued to the TV.

But hey...
I finished something,
so I will be proud of that.
:o)

So here's a couple items I made when I was at my sisters
a while ago.

A zipper pouch

And another zipper pouch with an
embroidered & painted hedgehog
(yep...it's the little hedgehog that's in my banner above.  I finally did something with it!)

And here is what I currently have in the works:
Getting ready to repaint my kitchen.
Buh Bye roosters...
hello fresh color!

Once I'll is said and done,
I'll share pictures of the
'new' look.

Here's another sneak peak of the fabric I picked
out to make my curtains:

I think the new look for my kitchen is going to be
fun, bright and gorgeous.
But the main thing.....
CHEAP.

Cause....you know....I am.....

More to come
and if I get some kahona's,
this kitchen will be done by next weekend!

xoxo
Cindy

I love your little makes. The mug rug isn't crooked....it is organic.

I love your little mug rug--wiggly lines and all. Obviously you were enjoying yourself. I'm imagine laughter was also to blame. :)

Good luck with the kitchen!

The mug rug is great and a finish is a finish. Love the lace for your curtains, too.
