I can't believe I haven't blogged for a couple weeks.
yes I can.
It's just that time of year.
Work, gardening, lawn care, house cleaning, weddings,
graduations, family reunions,
going out to eat with my favorite peeps,
(Thanks, Mary!! And I will see you next Friday, Julie!!)
But life is good!
I have to first tell you about an awesome sale going on right now.
Like the Celebrate mug rug I made earlier this month.
Or this Anita Vacation Tote
(this is the third tote I've made from her pattern)
I used Joel Dewberry's Aviary2 in Lilac for this tote.
I LOVE how it came out!
So head on over to Amy's pattern shop
and see what tickles your fancy.
Next on my list to make of Amy's is her casserole carrier.
DISCLAIMER - Amy did not ask me to promote this. I am doing this of my own
good will and because I LOVE sharing great, quality deals!
I don't want to miss out and I'm sure you don't either!
Next on my list of things to share,
is pretty cool.
My Flickr friend, Jackie,
did a post on Flickr called,
"Pay It Forward".
If you were one of the first five to sign up,
some time in 2013 she would send you a homemade gift,
as long as you posted the link you your Flickr pool and paid it forward as well.
I was lucky enough to be one of the five!
OK..seriously....I'm not going to lie...
I about peed my pants to hurry up and post,
because I wanted to be on that list!
So here's what Jackie sent me:
This pouch fits my cell phone, money, checkbook,
(eh hem...yes, I still write checks and hold up the lines in the grocery store.)
anything I need to grab in a pinch if I don't want to carry my
And it it SO adorable!!
I mean, seriously,
look at how cute this is!!
And wouldn't you know it,
I have 3 spots open on my
Pay It Forward link!
All you have to have is a Flickr account.
So click here if you would like me to send you a little goodie some time this year.
you KNOW you want to!
And I would love to make something for you!
I have lots more to post,
but will stop for now.
I don't want you to get tired of me all in one sitting.
