I received some very scrumptious fabric from a
wonderful store called
The quality of these home deco fabrics
is outstanding!
I decided to make a divider basket by Noodlehead.
I used the stars and cherry fabric for this.
The fabric played very nicely with the pattern.
If using cotton fabric, the pattern calls for both
fusible interfacing and fusible fleece.
With Terry's Fabric I only used the interfacing.
I didn't use anything when creating the handles.
The fabric holds up well enough on it's own.
I don't know why I was so afraid of this pattern.
Everything went together so easily and I can't wait to make another one!
I truly LOVE this cherry fabric.
The addition of the tiny blue dots make it extra cute.
Stop on over to Terry's to see the beautiful collection!
I'm sure you're wondering what happened to the third fabric in the first photo
Well, that will have to be shown after Christmas.
But I promise you will love what's made from it!
Enjoy your day!
xoxo

Cute!! You have to love all the benefits of a good home decor weight fabric--more durability, less interfacing, more structure. Definitely a win-win for this basket!
Lovely little basket and such cute fabrics. Ive made a couple of those baskets in the past and they’re dead easy and so useful to have in the sewing room!
Gosh that cherry fabric is so darn cute. The basket looks awesome.
I love your 3 fabrics, and what you made with 2 of them. I was wondering what had happened to the third one, it's good to know it was used for something special.
Love what you picked for this divided basket! Love those dots with the cherry fabric!!! It is beautiful!!
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
